“One by Penfolds” is a limited‑release wine created in collaboration with NIGO (founder of the fashion label Human Made). The 2022 vintage sources fruit from vineyards across South‑Eastern Australia selected for style and character. Penfolds aims to express “oneness” in difference: different varietals, different regions, yet a unified wine. It’s crafted to be polished, soft, and approachable right from release, while still retaining regional hallmarks of flavour and structure.

Tasting Notes

Magenta‑crimson edges in the glass. On the nose: red jubes, juicy raspberry, rose petal from the Grenache, with Shiraz contributing flint and oiled gun‑metal aromas, and Mourvèdre (Mataro) spices—pimento, clove—and a savoury meatiness like dried jamón on sourdough crust. On the palate: forward primary fruit (raspberry) with vanilla anglaise sweetness, fresh acidity, rustic tannins, and steely aromatics. Soft and polished, yet with taut structure making it approachable now.
