Robert Mondavi To Kalon Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Founded in 1966, Robert Mondavi Winery is one of the most iconic and pioneering estates in Napa Valley, California. Robert Mondavi's vision was to create world-class wines that rivaled the finest in Europe, and he played a crucial role in elevating Napa Valley's global wine reputation. The winery's signature vineyard, To Kalon, located in the Oakville AVA, is widely considered one of the most prestigious vineyard sites in the United States.
To Kalon—meaning "the highest beauty" in Greek—was first planted in 1868 and has since become synonymous with excellence. Wines from this vineyard consistently showcase depth, complexity, and age-worthiness, particularly with Bordeaux varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fermented in French oak tanks and aged in 100% new French oak barrels for approximately 20 months, the wine reflects both the unique terroir of To Kalon and the winery’s modern approach to traditional winemaking.
This limited-production reserve wine showcases the very best of Napa Valley and is intended for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate structured, cellar-worthy Cabernets.
