Hellyers Road Distillery (est. 1999) is located in Burnie, on Tasmania’s north coast. One of Australia’s leading single malt producers, they emphasise quality craft distillation using 100% Tasmanian barley, and mature whisky in barrels suited to Tasmania’s climate. “The Spaniard” is a part of their Prestige Barrel Finish range, marrying ex-bourbon maturation with sherry cask finishing to produce a rich, fruit-driven whisky with depth and character.
