Emigdio Mezcal Vago Espadin

Mezcal Vago collaborates with small-scale, traditional mezcaleros in Oaxaca, Mexico, to produce artisanal mezcals that showcase the unique characteristics of the region. Emigdio Jarquín, a fourth-generation mezcalero from El Nanche, Miahuatlán de Porfirio Díaz, distills this expression using 100% Espadín agave. The agave is roasted in earthen pits, ground by stone, and distilled in copper stills, adhering to traditional methods that highlight the terroir of the area.
