The Lost Explorer Mezcal Joven Espadín is a handcrafted, small-batch artisanal mezcal produced in the Valles Centrales, Oaxaca, Mexico, on ancestral Mixtec land. This expression is made from the common and cultivated Espadín agave, which takes approximately 8 years to mature. It is considered the most approachable and versatile of the brand's mezcals, offering a good balance of herbaceous sweetness and a mild, gentle smoke from the traditional roasting in earthen ovens. The production is overseen by Maestro Mezcalero Don Fortino Ramos.
