Founded in 1844, Penfolds has become an iconic Australian wine house. The Bin 389 label was first made in 1960 under the stewardship of legendary winemaker Max Schubert as part of his “Grange-trial” experiments. Bin 389 is often referred to as “Baby Grange” due to its structural depth and use of barrels that previously held Grange.
