Ron Santiago de Cuba hails from the historic distillery in Santiago de Cuba, in the Southeast Oriente province of Cuba. It is part of the state‑owned Corporación Cuba Ron S.A., and showcases Cuba’s long rum‑making tradition. The region’s tropical climate, sugarcane terroir, and aging in oak barrels under warm, humid conditions contribute to its character. The “Extra Añejo 11 Years Old” is an expression which has been matured at least eleven years, allowing the spirit to develop greater complexity while maintaining balance between sweetness from molasses and oak maturation effects.
