Hennessy’s cognac-making process begins in the vineyards of France’s Cognac region, where Ugni Blanc grapes are carefully harvested to create the foundation for its eaux-de-vie. The wine undergoes traditional double distillation in copper stills before being matured in French oak barrels, allowing the spirit to develop depth, aroma and complexity over time. Each eau-de-vie is carefully assessed by the Tasting Committee and selected by the Master Blender, whose expertise brings together different characteristics to create a harmonious and distinctive blend.
