Founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, El Tequileno utilises volcanic spring water from El Volcán de Tequila and high-altitude Los Altos agave to craft its spirits. The blanco expression from the brand is mellowed for 14 days in American oak to add balance beyond many standard blancos.
