Giant Steps was established in the Yarra Valley in 1998 by Phil Sexton, with a focus on producing expressive, site-driven wines from carefully selected vineyards. Tarraford Vineyard, located in the cooler Lower Yarra Valley, is particularly suited to Syrah, producing wines known for perfume, spice, fine tannins and vibrant cool-climate character. The 2015 vintage was crafted with minimal intervention and indigenous yeast, allowing the vineyard and variety to shine.
