Laferté is a French “maison d’assemblage” (blending house) launched recently by spirit-industry veterans including Adrien Douady, Anthony Davoigniot & Loys Vallon de Testa. The name “Laferté” comes from the old French ferté, meaning fortress, reflecting their ambition to make France a stronghold in the whisky world.

Pale gold with natural colour. Nose of vanilla and coconut, jasmine and fresh oak. Palate bright with plum, quince, apricot, veering into fresh grass, cane sugar and citrus zest. Finish warms with white pepper and clove.
