Suntory is one of Japan’s most historic whisky producers, founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii and responsible for pioneering Japanese whisky with the opening of the Yamazaki Distillery in 1923. The Wedgwood Decanter is a collectible presentation bottling from Suntory (often believed to have been released in the 1990s–2000s), housed in a special ceramic decanter crafted by the famed English porcelain maker Wedgwood. It is widely rumoured to include a high proportion of Yamazaki 25 Year Old malt in the blend, making it appealing to collectors and enthusiasts of vintage Japanese whisky.
