The Lost Explorer Mezcal is a handcrafted, small-batch artisanal spirit produced in the sun-soaked Valles Centrales, Oaxaca, Mexico, on ancestral Mixtec land. This expression is crafted from the wild Tobalá agave, which takes approximately 10 years to mature before being sustainably harvested. The production process is led by Maestro Mezcalero Don Fortino Ramos. The spirit is a mezcal joven, meaning it is unaged, with its complex flavors coming from the wild agave and the traditional process of roasting in earthen ovens.
