Waubs Harbour Founder's Reserve Tasmanian Whisky

Founded in 2017 by brothers Tim and Rob Polmear and Bec Polmear, Waubs Harbour Distillery was created from a vision to craft whisky their way—using the best ingredients, equipment, and the perfect seaside location. Built within a former oyster hatchery on Tasmania’s rugged east coast, the distillery sits just metres from the ocean, where the maritime climate infuses every cask with sea air and coastal character. The name honours Wauba Debar, a local Aboriginal woman celebrated for her bravery at sea, whose story embodies the spirit of the Tasmanian coast. This unique location and heritage inspire Waubs Harbour’s signature maritime single malts—whiskies shaped by salt, wind, and the wild Tasmanian environment.
