The Yamazaki Limited Edition 2014 Release is the inaugural release in Suntory's annual Limited Edition series, celebrating the craftsmanship of Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery. Established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, the Yamazaki Distillery is renowned for its diverse cask maturation and meticulous blending techniques. This exceptional expression combines carefully selected whiskies, including 20-year-old malts matured in European oak sherry and port casks with younger bourbon cask-aged whisky, resulting in a beautifully balanced whisky of remarkable depth, elegance, and complexity.
