The Glenfarclas The Family Casks 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Glenfarclas, meaning “valley of the green grass” in Gaelic, is one of Scotland’s most revered family-owned distilleries. It is located in Ballindalloch, Speyside, and has been operated by the Grant family since 1865, making it one of the longest family-run distilleries in Scotland.
Rare and exceptional expression from the renowned Speyside distillery. Distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2007, this whisky is part of the esteemed Family Casks series, which showcases single cask releases from various vintages. This particular bottling was aged in a sherry butt (cask #5786) for over three decades, resulting in a limited release of 555 bottles at a robust 60.8% ABV.
