Camus Ile de Re Cliffside Cellar Fine Island Cognac is made from grapes grown on a small island off the coast of France, giving it a unique flavour profile. The cognac is aged in a cellar by the sea, where the salty ocean air helps to impart additional depth and complexity. This luxurious cognac is perfect for sipping and enjoying on special occasions.

Camus Ile de Re Cliffside Cellar Fine Island Cognac

A unique concept for Cognac lovers that are eager to experiment, the Camus Île de Ré Cliffside Cellar Cognac is part of a series of unique Cognacs aged just meters away from the Atlantic Ocean in a cliffside damp cellar. The Cognac is matured across two different stages. Firstly, in a high-humidity cellar, then later it is transferred to toasted casks.

It is often found that the maturation process causes the sea flavour and aromas to disappear, and so Camus took inspiration from the whisky industry to solve the problem. Instead, they chose to add a “finish” where the Cognac was matured by the sea at the end.
