Colour

Garnet red with a dark purple core.

Nose

The nose is pure and oak-free, showcasing unadulterated Shiraz. A gentle swirl reveals forest berries, strawberry flan, and rhubarb tart, with a hint of red glacé cherries. Savoury layers of spiced Blutwurst, roast lamb drippings, and salt-cured beef follow, underpinned by ferric notes of iron filings and whetstone.

Palate

The palate is savoury and umami-driven, with notes of nori and olive brine. Blueberry and mulberry leaf form the mid-palate core, lifted by exotic spices like turmeric, cumin, and pimento. Tannins are tactile and cocoa-like, promising great cellaring potential.
