Peanut butter whiskey? Why the hell not?! Peanut butter was a totally new and fascinating flavor for co-creator Steve Yeng after immigrating as a refugee from Cambodia. He went on to develop a best-selling peanut butter whiskey cocktail at his bar and restaurant—a place as known for its foodie-friendly fare as it was for being a haven for local misfits and black sheep. Teaming up with his wife Brittany, who just so happened to be a lawyer and chemist, they developed a standalone spirit that tastes great on its own and plays well in a cocktail. The result is a harmonious blend of seemingly disparate flavors: a little salty, a little sweet, a little savory, always smooth and unlike anything you’ve tasted before.
