Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 1996

One of the greatest red vintages through most of South Australia. This is in the prime of its drinking window and an excellent example of aged Coonawarra Cabernet.

TASTING NOTES

Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet is extremely attractive, with an array of cassis, blackberry and mint fruit characters, the palate elegant and stylish. Instead of succumbing to the temptation of extracting every bit of character from the wine, it has been allowed to express itself in an unforced fashion. Drink to 2011.
