Founded in 1724, Rémy Martin is one of the historic houses of Cognac and is particularly renowned for its focus on Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. Louis XIII is the house’s iconic prestige Cognac, traditionally presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter and composed of exceptionally mature eaux-de-vie. This 1970s bottling is a rare collector’s expression, representing an earlier generation of Louis XIII and a distinctive piece of Cognac history. Auction records identify 1970s examples as 70cl bottlings at 40% ABV, with Grande Champagne provenance.
