Mortlach is a historic Speyside distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, founded in 1823 and known as “The Beast of Dufftown” for its rich, muscular spirit. Unique among Scotch producers, Mortlach employs a complex distillation technique often described as 2.81-times distillation and matures much of its whisky in sherry and refill casks, producing bold, deep single malts that have long been prized by blenders and connoisseurs alike.
