Jansz Tasmania was founded in 1986 — originally as a partnership with a European Champagne house — and is now wholly Australian‑owned. Based in Tasmania, Jansz specialises exclusively in premium sparkling wines made using traditional bottle fermentation (méthode traditionnelle / “méthode Tasmanoise”). The cool‑climate vineyards across Tasmania (from Pipers River, Tamar Valley to Coal River Valley) provide Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes ideally suited for classic sparkling wines.
