The Macallan, founded in 1824 in Speyside, Scotland, has long been celebrated for its dedication to oak cask maturation, especially sherry-seasoned wood, and its small stills. The “Quest Collection”, launched in 2017, is the distillery’s travel-retail exclusive line exploring oak, flavour, and sensory experiences. Terra sits within this range as an expression of discovery and a tribute to first-fill sherry-seasoned oak from both Europe and America.
