Woodlands is one of Margaret River’s pioneering family-owned wineries, established by David and Heather Watson in 1973 in Wilyabrup. The original vineyard was planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc added soon after. The winery has long focused on elegant, Bordeaux-inspired Cabernet blends that reflect the distinctive character of Margaret River.
