Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët in Épernay, Champagne, Moët & Chandon is one of the most venerable and iconic Champagne houses. Over nearly three centuries the Maison has developed extensive vineyards and cellars, built a reputation for innovation as well as prestige, and refined its winemaking expertise. The House is known for blending artistry and science (what it calls “savoir‑vin”) and has for generations pushed boundaries—balancing tradition (oak, reserve wines, bottle ageing) with modern styles.
