Aberfeldy 25 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

Today over 125 years later, our charming distillery still stands as testament to a tradition of whisky-making stretching back over generations. To mark our 125th Anniversary we’ve specially bottled a 25 Year Old Single Malt, expertly finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks.

Matured for over two decades in a combination of re-fill hogsheads and refill butts, the whisky was then finished for over a year in First-fill Oloroso Sherry casks.  Oloroso casks augment Aberfeldy’s rich and fruity character, and bestow a delightful spiced note.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A fragrant bouquet of Highland honey and sun-warmed wild strawberries, lifted by ripe peaches. Layers of cocoa powder, creamy caramel, and a dash of warming cinnamon add richness and depth.

Palate: Soft and elegant with delicate fruit resting on a malty cereal foundation. Hints of vanilla coffee develop, bringing smooth sweetness and complexity.

Finish: Long and satisfying, with the comforting warmth of lingering spice and subtle fruit notes.
