La Vieille Ferme Cotes du Ventoux Rouge

Poor old Carignan. Many old vines were 'grubbed up' by vignerons who were persuaded by the 'powers that be' that the land could be better used for something more profitable. How wrong they were! Old vines are highly sought-after nowadays but, obviously, are now in short supply! Luckily Xavier Roger has some at his winemaking lair near the historic city of Carcassonne and this fruity, ripe and downright delectable red is a great example of the complexity and class that old vines can bring to a wine!
La Vieille Ferme Cotes du Ventoux Rouge
